Carnival Cruise Line has announced major additions to its HUB smartphone app. Royal Caribbean has announced which venues will be off-limits to unvaccinated cruisers on Freedom of the Seas in July. MSC Grandiosa sailed from Barcelona this past weekend, marking the reopening of the port to international cruise travel. Cruise stocks were down for CCL, RCL and NCLH.

Cruise News Briefing - June 23, 2021— AM UPDATE. Carnival Cruise Line announced on Wednesday morning that they will be receiving two cruise ships. The first ship will be from Italian brand Costa Cruises, and then vessel from German-brand AIDA Cruises. The vessels will enter service in 2022 and 2023. The new-to-Carnival cruise ships are expected to be named at a later date.

MSC Cruises has made it clear that if you cruise unvaccinated, you will have to buy a mandatory travel insurance policy from the cruise operator. Three Carnival Corporation (CCL) brands — Carnival Cruise Line, Princess Cruises, and Holland America — were breached in a cyber attack this spring. Cruise line stocks were down on Friday for CCL, RCL, and NCLH.

And a campaign to limit cruise ships and passengers in the Alaskan city of Juneau has fallen flat. Cruise stocks were down for CCL, NCHL, and RCL.
